Our Mission We are an all-volunteer organization!!

M.E. Carpenter for Suicide Awareness honors Mary Ellen Carpenter's work that she has done in Suicide prevention and awareness after the suicide of her son. We continue her mission by helping to find/pay for counseling for people after a suicide of a loved one, or if you yourself have suicidal thoughts hoping to prevent a suicide. We have distributed a lot of helpful resources and books in Delaware County!!

In our MECARE'S Program we have two books:

First book is called Pearl’s Purpose by Jenna Martorana. This book opens up conversations around mental health between adults and children.

The second book is Mending Piece by Piece after a Suicide of a loved one, by Linda Falasco. This is a wonderful book/workbook to help you with your grief after a suicide loss with journals and worksheets to help the healing process.
